In honor of Ocean County Library’s 100th Anniversary, three new limited edition library cards were made available in limited quantities to mark the special occasion. Available while supplies last, these 100th Anniversary Library Cards were offered to both new and existing customers.
New Borrowers:
The following people are eligible for a free card:
- Ocean County residents
- Ocean County Business owners
- Ocean County teachers and librarians with proof of employment
- Ocean County students
- Burlington County residents*
- Monmouth County residents*

Existing Cardholders:
Those who already have an Ocean County Library card are welcome to get a free 100th Anniversary replacement card at any library location.
Branch banners are now displayed at their respective locations. Each banner includes a short history for each of our 21 locations along with various Ocean County Library highlights from over the years.
