Professional
Services and Resources:
Library cards. Any educator who
is employed in any of the schools in our 32 member
municipalities is eligible for an Ocean County Library

application form from any
branch of the Ocean
County Library, or print out the
form and submit it to any branch. You must show
proof of residence and verification of your current
employment. Your card permits you to have the same
borrowing
privileges as a resident, but it
will expire on October 1 of each year.

education journals and magazines for classroom resources
and activities available at many of our branches.

truly multicultural institution. To this
end, we are developing an ever-growing collection
of foreign language materials and online resources.
Visit the Español page on our website, and
use “Informe” from the Online Resources
page to find news, health information, and more
in Spanish. You can find audio and video tapes and
print materials available in other languages by
using a subject heading such as “Spanish language
materials.” If you place a hold on materials
through WebPac, our online catalog, they will be
delivered to the branch you request.
