Nonprofit, self-help support organization which offers friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. There is no religious affiliation. There are no membership fees or dues, and all bereaved family members are welcome.
Compassionate Friends of Ocean County Chapter meetings are held at 7:30PM on the FIRST Tuesday and at 2:00PM on the THIRD Sunday of every month. All meetings are at the Children's Memorial Garden, Winding River Park, Toms River. The chapter also prints a monthly newsletter and maintains a lending library of grief-related books and tapes.
