Community Schools:

Many community schools offer educational and special interest classes for self-improvement and recreation.  Some also offer credits for professional development. Online classes are also beginning to become available.  

Ocean County College
"The Academy of Lifelong Learning provides quality educational programs for adults 55 and over to enhance their intellectual, physical, and personal well being in a friendly environment."  There is an annual membership fee plus educational for each class.
