Walker. Films are listed alphabetically with a
brief description, availability on DVD, video
etc. As in past editions films are rated by a
* star system but now have an added rating for
family viewing. Halliwell is strong on foreign
films and gives extensive credits for off screen
contributors.

Walker with the original title of Halliwell’s
Filmgoers Companion. International in scope
the volume contains very brief biographies of
people involved in motion picture production and
their credits. The volume also includes awards

web resources, and chronology.

This industry publication is filled
with information about the year in film. The information
includes statistics such as grosses, attendance,
etc., as well as mergers. Brief biographies of
people involved in the film industry are included
as well as films released in the last ten years.

domestic and worldwide markets. Professional organizations
and government offices involved in film production
are also listed as well as web sites.

VideoHound has the best indexes among film directories
including: alternate titles, awards, director,
