Support your love of reading by becoming a Teen Reading Buddy!
Make a difference by being an enthusiastic reading role model for a young child!
As a Teen Reading Buddy, you will be partnered with a young child who needs reading practice over the summer. You will help the child practice his/her reading and listening skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere!

The teen volunteer program, “Teen Reading Buddies” is being offered to Ocean County teens that have completed 6th grade.
Applications are taken on a first serve, first come basis so DON’T WAIT!
Many of the 20 branches of the Ocean County Library will be participating in Reading Buddies. Each branch has its own unique program. Contact your local branch for application deadlines and more details!
