The Internet is an unregulated medium. As such, while it offers access to a wealth of material that is personally, professionally, and culturally enriching to individuals of all ages, it also enables access to some material that may be offensive, disturbing, inaccurate and/or illegal. It is not possible for the library to provide the same selection criteria as is used for other materials; therefore, the library does not assume responsibility for the content of material on the Internet.

The viewing and use of materials on the Internet is the responsibility of each individual user, and the responsibility of parents or guardians for their children.
