Lacey Library Gets Jazzy for Black History Month

February 07, 2020

LACEY TOWNSHIP – The Ocean County Library Lacey Branch will celebrate Black History Month by hosting “An Evening of Jazz and Blues: The Swamp Boogie Five Concert,” 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The band adds a Louisiana-flavored twist to the songs in its repertoire. Member Pete Wagula describes the group’s style as “roots and jump blues in a swampy style.”

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Lacey Library.

The branch is located at 10 East Lacey Road.

Registration is required for this free event. Register by calling the branch, 609-693-8566, or sign up online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/events.
