Need help with your 2020 Census? The Library has dedicated laptops available for completing your Census online and staff trained to help with Census questions.

Due to Covid-19, and the need for social distancing, Ocean County Library is modifying our in-person S.A.I.L. volunteer program to an engaging online format. This summer, we are offering teens the opportunity to earn community service hours online.

This online modified volunteer program still allows teens the opportunity to serve their community while learning, sharing and having fun at the same time! The teen volunteer program, "Service and Achievement In The Library," is offered to teens that have completed at least 7th grade.

S.A.I.L. is currently full. Please contact your local branch teen services librarian with concerns and questions.

Please apply through your hometown branch below.

Deadline for Applications is June 28th.

To register, complete and submit this application.

Once your application is accepted an email will be sent with directives on how to sign up for the Virtual SAIL challenge. S.A.I.L. will run from June 29th to August 15th.

It is a full summer challenge with new activity badges added every week to keep your interest intact. Volunteer hours will be awarded for badges earned. If you complete all the badges you receive 30 hours of volunteer service and a SAIL completion certificate.
