LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Revel in the warmth of the spirit of the season during the Navesink Brass Quintet’s special holiday concert at the Ocean County Library Little Egg Harbor Branch, 6:30 PM Wednesday, December 21.

It promises to be a memorable evening, marking the ensemble’s 30th anniversary as well as its return to the Branch. Attendees will hear specially-chosen songs that reflect holiday celebrations of many cultures.

Formed in Red Bank in 1992 and named for the river that flows through the city, the Monmouth County-based NBQ performs a broad spectrum of styles, “from Renaissance to Jazz and Rock,” maintaining its superlative standards with regular, rigorous rehearsals.

The Quintet consists of: Thomas Bender and Marcus Hulse, trumpets; Brian Strohmetz, horn; Daniel Carver, trombone; and Paul J. Eschelbach, tuba.
