Italian Music Concert Coming to Toms River Library

TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Library will host a concert by violinist Dr. David Podles at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 at the Toms River Branch.

In honor of Columbus Day, Dr. Podles will present the most poignant and celebrated Italian pieces from Vivaldi, Paganini, Rossini, and Puccini, as well as tarantellas, mazurkas, and Italian-American classics.

Dr. Podles has performed as a soloist and with orchestras throughout the world, including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, and the Bolshoi.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean County Library – Toms River.
