Learn to Protect Your Vision with Eye Health Practices at the Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library

April 16, 2026

BARNEGAT – The Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “Vision for Life: How to Keep Your Eyes Healthy and Bright” from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 followed by vision screenings from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

We often take our sight for granted until things get a little blurry. Whether you are looking to reduce eye strain from screens, curious about the best foods for your eyes, or simply want to protect your vision as you age, this session is for you.

Join a health educator for an engaging and easy-to-understand talk on the essentials of eye wellness. They will break down simple daily habits, nutrition tips, and practical “eye breaks” that can make a world of difference in how you see the world.

This program is presented in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health.

Registration is required for this free program. To register, visit tinyurl.com/VisionBarnegat, call 609-698-3331, or stop by the branch at 112 Burr Street. Registration will open April 22.
