The program is open to all teen residents of Ocean County who are entering 8th grade through 12th grade.
S.A.I.L. will last 8 weeks from Monday, June 27 to Thursday, August 19. No S.A.I.L. on Monday, July 4. A mandatory orientation will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 6:00pm. Please indicate if you are unavailable to attend.
You must be able to attend the day/time you select for the entire 8 week session.

The 2022 Virtual S.A.I.L. will run from July 1st to August 19th.

To register, complete and return this application to the Jackson Branch children’s Desk or register online. The program is open to all teen residents of Ocean County who are entering 8th through 12th grade. Sessions are limited in size, so sign up early.
Upon submission, you will be given a schedule confirmation. Please keep your confirmation as we will not be making reminder calls.
Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis. Participants are expected to attend all days of their session.

Applicants will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

The S.A.I.L. program at the Manchester Branch will last for 5 weeks from Tuesday, July 12 to Friday, August 12. The program is open to all teen residents of Ocean County who are entering 8th grade.
Volunteers meet twice a week for two hours per day. Please try to attend the entire session for the day/time you select. If you know of a session you will miss please let us know as soon as possible.
Please complete and submit this application to the Manchester Library by Tuesday, June 28. You will be notified of the session to which you have been accepted.
The date of the S.A.I.L appreciation party will be Tuesday, August 16 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

The S.A.I.L. program at the Point Pleasant Borough Branch will run Monday through Thursday for 5 weeks. The application deadline is June 8. Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis.
You will be notified by preferred contact method beginning the week of June 13 for the weeks you have been accepted. Groups are limited in size, so sign up early.
You must notify the branch if you will be absent. After 2 unnotified absences you will be dismissed from S.A.I.L.
Orientation on Tuesday, 6/21 is mandatory. Please let the branch know if you are unable to attend ahead of time.

You will be notified of your acceptance via email by Monday, June 13th.
