History, Creativity & Fun at the Ocean County Library Manchester Branch 35th Anniversary
April 10, 2025MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP – The Ocean County Library Manchester Branch is turning 35 years young, and here is your invitation to the Branch’s anniversary celebration, 2 PM until 8 PM Monday, April 21.
The educational and entertainment-filled lineup includes:
- Manchester History: An Overview, 2 PM – Discover the facts and legends behind the creation and growth of Manchester, Lakehurst and Whiting. Please register.
- Reception with Light Refreshments, 3 PM
- Pete Custode in Concert, 3:45 PM – Enjoy this remarkable New Jersey entertainer of pop classics made famous by Elvis, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Please register.
- “Happy Birthday, Manchester Library!” Drop-In Craft for Kids, 6 PM - 8 PM – Join us in the Children’s Department to make a keepsake of the anniversary celebration.
Wednesday, April 23
- Manchester Library 35th Anniversary Craft for Adults, 2 PM – Create your own individualized, one-of-a-kind commemorative refrigerator magnet. We will supply the materials as well as samples to spark your imagination. Please register.
