Learn About Ghost Hunting from the Experts at the Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library
September 25, 2025BRICK – Get in the spooky spirit! The Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “Ghost Hunting Behind the Scenes: New Jersey’s Oldest Paranormal Research Team” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15.
Join members of South Jersey Ghost Research (SJGR) as they present an informative and intriguing program about the paranormal. The evening will begin with a 25-minute video explaining who SJGR are and their mission to help those in need, free of charge.
Become familiar with equipment they use, and spirit voices known as electronic voice phenomena (EVPs) that were recorded during their investigations. This will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
SJGR has conducted investigations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware since 1955. According to their mission statement, their goal is to “aid any individuals having problems dealing with or understanding a situation in their home or business… researching the situation and educating them as to the nature of their haunting as well as giving them the information and understanding to create a livable resolution for the person and the spirit.”
