Long Beach Island Health Department to Teach Safe Medication Practices at Ocean County Library LBI Branch

SURF CITY – Knowing safe practices with medication can prevent harm from visiting you or your loved ones. This is why the Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library is hosting “Medication Misuse Prevention” at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 16.

The Long Beach Island Health Department will engage in a discussion about storing, administering, and disposing prescription medications safely.

Sara Gonzales, a field representative with the Long Beach Island Health Department will be offering a monthly health education class at the branch the third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. November’s health topic will be stress management.
