Jackson Friends of the Library The Jackson Friends of the Library have donated and installed a sculpture to represent the library diversity, reading encouragement and utilizing technology. The Friends donated 2 outside benches so the patrons can enjoy the outdoors. "Super Nova" original painting and prints by Red Bank artist Monika McCall. The Jackson Friends donated and installed Super Nova by Red Bank artist Monika McCall. Super Nova is an original acrylic on canvas and is on the right of the window. The pieces to the left are glicee painted on canvas showing details from the original piece. Ms. McCall had mounted her work in painted blue wooden frames that exactly matched the library’s furniture! Reader’s Clubhouse – mural for the Youth Service department The Friend donated the landscaping for the gazebo.  The Gazebo was built as an Eagle Scout Project, Andrew McAllister, Boy Scout Troop #82. The Friends donated a piano to be used for programs throughout the year. On September 8, 2016 this sundial was unveiled in honor of Judy Friend during a ceremony attended by her family and friends who appreciated all the time and effort she gave toward improvements to the library.
