Learn All About Succulents and Cacti at Stafford Library

MANAHAWKIN – Looking for plants that require little care? Then succulents and cacti are for you. The Master Gardeners of Ocean County will present “Plant-astic Succulents & Cacti” at the Stafford Branch of the Ocean County Library at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 11.

This session will focus on xerophytic succulents, which are found in semi-arid and desert conditions. Learn about these fascinating plants and how to care for them.

This free program will be presented by Roberta Quinn, certified Rutgers Master Gardener of Ocean County, during their “Ask a Master Gardener” diagnostic clinic. “Ask a Master Gardener” takes place every second and fourth Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Quinn has been involved with the Master Gardener program since 2012 and is extensively involved with the nonprofit Master Gardener Association of Ocean County, Inc.
