Lift Your Voice Joyfully! Accessible Sing-Along at the Ocean County Library Point Pleasant Borough Branch
June 30, 2025POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH – Feel the warmth and fun as you raise your voice in song with friends old and new. The Ocean County Library is pleased to present an Accessible Sing-Along for Older Teens and Adults in the Point Pleasant Borough Branch, 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24.
Bring your love of music and join New Jersey licensed speech therapist Katherine Tappan-Verderosa, “Ms. Kat” of SLP Musically for this fun hour of song for older teens and adults who have speech impairments or developmental disabilities.
Ms. Kat will perform tunes in a happy sing-along style. Remember to bring your AAC device. Miss Kat will encourage you to sing through switches and other augmentative and alternative communication devices. You can also play special adapted percussion instruments!
ASHA certified speech-language pathologist Katherine Tappan-Verderosa provides empowering entertainment and offers consultations, therapy services, and device training for children and families through her Middletown-based SLP Musically. She connects through social media platforms including Facebook and YouTube.
The Accessible Sing-Along is generously sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization approaching its 25th year of enhancing services and opportunities to all Library users. Members raise funds and seek grants to support non-traditional Library programs and services.
