Ocean County Library Lakewood Branch Closure for Roof Replacement

LAKEWOOD, NJ – The Lakewood Branch of the Ocean County Library will be temporarily closed for a full roof replacement starting Monday, October 6 with an anticipated reopening on Monday, October 13, weather permitting.

Items on hold at the Lakewood Branch will be sent to the Brick Branch, 301 Chambers Bridge Road, on Saturday, October 4. Library patrons can also request their items be sent to another branch by calling 732-349-6200.

The Lakewood Branch book drop will remain open for returns.

Due dates for Chromebooks, hotspots, and Launchpads from the Lakewood Branch will be adjusted to accommodate the temporary closure.

Patrons are encouraged to visit nearby OCL branches for in-person services.

Digital resources such as eBooks, audiobooks, research databases, and virtual programming remain available 24/7 through theoceancountylibrary.org.
