Ocean County Library Long Beach Island Branch To Offer Fall StoryWalk® in Long Beach Township
October 2, 2024SURF CITY – Celebrate Halloween, family time and your love of literature together! The Ocean County Library Long Beach Island Branch, in partnership with Bayview Park, will provide a weeklong Fall StoryWalk® starting 10 AM Monday, October 28 in the park, 6805 Long Beach Boulevard, Long Beach Township.
You’re welcome to stroll and read at any time through Monday, November 4. Appropriately, the story will be Vampire Vacation by Laura Lavoie, available at the Ocean County Library.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
The project promotes literacy, physical activity and family time in natural environs. Its popularity has spread throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
