Ocean County Library to Present ‘Writing from Your Roots: Family Stories Memoir’

October 21, 2024

TOMS RIVER – Our origins define and guide us in our daily lives. Preserve recollections from your family’s past and see how they shape your awareness. Join The Social Writerly founder and Lead Creative Instructor Sarah Van Clef and Lead Fiction Instructor Jaimee. D. Cali for “Writing from Your Roots: Family Stories Memoir” at two Ocean County Library branches.

  • Jackson Branch – 2 Jackson Drive, (732) 928-4400, 1 PM Monday, November 18.
  • Lakewood Branch – 301 Lexington Avenue (732) 363-1435, 1 PM Tuesday, November 19.

Our cultures, neighborhoods and friends can help us to understand what family means to us. During the two-hour session, you’ll immerse yourself in your family history and uncover moments from the past. The reminiscences can help you understand your future.
