October 1, 2024

TOMS RIVER – Start your Halloween season with horror, hauntings…and humor! The Ocean County Library Toms River Branch is pleased to present a Guild Theatreworks production, A Halloween Evening of Tricks and Treats, 6:30 PM Wednesday, October 16.

From classic ghost stories, Shakespeare’s witches and contemporary poems to the wisdom of children about their special spooky holiday, the show features cast members familiar to audiences of the troupe’s many OCL appearances.

Enjoy performances by Corey Crawford, Gail Sheehan, Jeri Georger, Linda McLaughlin, Kelly Lindstrom and Janet Lynn Spahr.

The nonprofit troupe, which began as the Brick Community Players, is approaching its 35th year of musicals, dramas, comedies, and improvisations from its base in the Robert Anstett Cultural Arts Center in Brick. Fans stay up to date with the group on Facebook.

A Halloween Evening of Tricks and Treats is sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean County Library – Toms River. The Friends are volunteers who support the Library through advocacy, fundraising, and programs. New members are always welcome.
