Wade into Watercolors with Jamie Jarka At the Ocean County Library
October 17, 2024TOMS RIVER – Have you ever looked at the subtle, textured beauty of watercolor paintings and wished you could master the art? Well, your chance is here. Join Jersey Shore artist Jamie Jarka for “Intro to Watercolors” during November at any of three Ocean County Library branches.

In this program for adults and seniors, Jamie will provide step-by-step guidance to create your very own greeting cards and bookmarks.
A public school art teacher for more than 20 years, Jamie is also the driving force behind Lil Monsters Art, where paint parties, family nights and team-building workshops are central to a mission of accessible, enjoyable and inspiring experiences in art. She was the subject of a 2019 article in The SandPaper.
Jamie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Richard Stockton College (now Stockton University) after studying at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and gaining experience in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
