October 13, 2025TOMS RIVER – Philippa Gregory, “the queen of British historical fiction,” has returned with a new novel, Boleyn Traitor, and will be discussing it during a virtual author talk at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29.

Dr. Philippa Gregory is one of the world’s foremost historical novelists. She wrote her first novel Wideacre when she was completing her PhD in eighteenth-century literature and it sold worldwide. Her flair for blending history and imagination developed into a signature style and she went on to write many bestselling novels, including The Other Boleyn Girl and The White Queen. In 2021, Dr. Gregory was awarded a CBE for services to literature and to her charity Gardens for the Gambia, and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
